2. Lahore Smart City Payment Plan

The total investment for the project is estimated at US$5.5 billion.

This will include the development of a Smart City Operations Centre (SCOC), a city-wide high-speed broadband network, and a unified communications system. In addition, Phase I will also involve the development of a city-wide Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) system.

Phase II of the Payment Plan will focus on the development of physical infrastructure projects, such as the construction of a light rail transit (LRT) system, the development of a mass rapid transit (MRT) system, the construction of a water supply and sewerage system, and the development of a power generation and distribution system.
