Zenith Defy 21 Ultraviolet Watch

Swiss watchmaker Zenith presents a violet chronograph replica luxury watches, the Zenith Defy 21 Ultraviolet. Even its movement has been treated with UV light – a first in watchmaking. In addition, the movement is equipped with the second independent escapement of the chronograph, beating at the highest frequency in the current chronograph.

First of all, this watch uses a faceted micro-blasted titanium case, which makes it more light and wear-resistant. At the same time, the hour markers and hands of the watch are rhodium-plated, faceted, and coated with Super-LumiNova SLN C1 for a white appearance.

Second, the unusually colored Zenith Defy 21 Ultraviolet watch features an open dial, allowing the movement and angular purple-treated bridges to be seen. The dial contains three closed gray sub-dials: small seconds at 9 o'clock, 30-minute chronograph at 3 o'clock and 60-second chronograph at 6 o'clock. In addition, the dial features a central chronograph hand and a linear chronograph power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock.replica swiss watches

Third, the movement powering the Defy 21 Ultraviolet is the self-winding El Primero 9004 automatic movement. It's the first-ever violet-colored movement to power a watch, in shades ranging from "warm violent" to "cool purple." It has a power reserve of 50 hours and beats at a frequency of 5 Hz. Essentially, the higher the frequency of movement, the smaller the number of seconds it can measure. The Defy 21 is therefore equipped with a second independent escapement beating at 360.000 vph (50 Hz) and measuring 1/100th of a second. This allows the watch's white-tipped central 1/100-second chronograph hand to complete one revolution in one second.

Finally, the Zenith Defy 21 Ultraviolet comes with a black rubber strap with purple inlays to mimic the look of woven fabric.2023 NEW Zenith Defy 21 Ultra

Zenith Introduces the Defy 21 Ultraviolet Chronograph

In the visible light spectrum, no color has a higher frequency than violet, the last wavelength before transitioning to invisible ultraviolet light. When Zenith was looking for a unique color for a new variant of its UHF Defy 21 1/100th of a second chronograph, violet was the natural choice. The resulting Zenith Defy 21 Ultraviolet is a striking showcase for the brand's cutting-edge mechanical watchmaking, wrapped in a truly unmistakable package.high quality replica watches

For the Defy 21 Ultraviolet, Zenith uses the same 44mm sandblasted titanium case as the other members of the Defy 21 collection. This bold, angular shape is finished entirely in a matte finish, which, combined with a darker shade of titanium, creates an aggressive, futuristic overall feel. Despite the sapphire display, the case is water resistant to 100 meters.

In addition to the vibrant purple elements, the Zenith Defy 21 Ultraviolet’s dial is also a first for the brand. This was the first regular production Defy 21 to feature a skeletonized dial with full chronograph subdials, making it a more legible design than many contemporary skeletonized chronographs. Each of the three subidals at 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock are beautifully recessed into a separate sloping bezel, adding depth to the already multi-layered dial and finished with the iconic Zenith Overlap ends. The real visual centerpiece, of course, is the purple-anodized bridge assembly, divided into three distinct layers, each with its own unique shade of purple and a unique finish, from brushed to polished to sandblasted. The rest of the dial lets itself visually fall into the background, with the power reserve indicator at 12 o'clock disappearing into almost all other visuals. Likewise, the polished rhodium baton hands and applied “floating” indexes are beautiful, but kept visually quiet to retain the heart of the design. Jacob Co. Astronomia sky

While it's nothing new, aside from the eye-catching violet treatment, the El Primero 9004 automatic chronograph movement inside the Zenith Defy 21 Ultraviolet is still an impressive piece of machinery. In order for the 1/100th of a second central chronograph hand to complete one revolution of the dial per second, the movement is equipped with two independent escapements. The first, for the main chronograph function, beats at a smooth 36,000 bph, while the second dedicated escapement for the chronograph vibrates at ten times that speed – a staggering 360,000 bph. On top of that, Zenith has added a linear power reserve indicator, running seconds, a 60-second chronograph register and a 30-minute register. The movement is also chronometer-certified for accuracy and has a power reserve of 50 hours,

Of course, no Defy 21 Ultraviolet is complete without a matching purple strap. Here Zenith presents a royal purple fabric-effect strap with soft black rubber lining. It is then finished with a sandblasted titanium butterfly clasp.

While the bold violet color scheme may not be to everyone's taste, there's no denying the technical feat behind the Zenith Defy 21 Ultraviolet.replica Urwerk
