What should we pay attention to when using the machine normally?

Pre-operation inspection of veterinary ultrasound equipment:

Before operation: It must be confirmed that all cables are connected in the correct position.

The instrument is turned on and other conditions are normal.

Avoid ultrasonic machines close to high power or large equipment that may cause interference, such as X-ray devices, cable boxes, etc.

If the power supply is placed separately and shares the power supply with other devices, abnormal images will appear.

Do not place the instrument near hot or humid items, place the instrument to ensure safe operation.

 

Precautions after using the machine:

Probe cleaning and precautions:

Cleaning method: After the probe is frozen after use, it should be straightened and hung up and the coupling agent should be wiped clean in time. To wipe the probe, use a soft rag and prohibit the use of rough paper. Clean the probe with clean water or mild detergent instead of alcohol.

Note: Cleaning supplies should be as close to neutral pH as possible. Do not use cleaners containing the following ingredients: anything containing surfactants, methanol, ethanol, benzyl or methyl alcohol, bleach, methyl or ethyl benzoate, polyethylene glycol, mineral oil, lubricating oils, oily emulsions, acetone, Ammonia, anhydrous ammonia, iodine, iodides, acids with a pH greater than or equal to 5. These have the potential to damage or discolor the probe. It is not recommended to use any brushes as the bristles have the potential to damage the acoustic window material.

Interventional use of the probe: consider using a sterile protective cover or film wrap, low-temperature sterilization, etc., and do not immerse the entire probe in water or other liquids for cleaning.
