Every Tuesday morning, the AFC coaches are frog dragged to a breakfast buffet and required to talk to the media for about an hour. Cameras and lights around Bill Belichick's table are sure to crowd out anyone who's slob next to him. He still draws a crowd even though he doesn't have anything to say. There's bound to be plenty of chairs at Ken Whisenhunt's table, though, and you can be sure he'll enjoy the company. So bring your oatmeal to table six!
The NFC coaches have their turn in the morning on Wednesday. I hope Chip Kelly eats beforehand, since his table is extremely popular. I'm going to Jim Tomsula's table because I think it will be fun (nobody would ever mention the eggs that are in his mustache).
An Nicer Football League
In the past, at these gatherings, the Madden NFL 23 were focussed on making the field a more pleasant place to work and play (before all the other crises of public relations). The competition committee snubbed goalpost celebrations and promised to put a stop to inappropriate behavior and taunting. I'm eager to hear what the results were for them.
