A pump is a device that moves fluid (liquid or gas) or sometimes mud by mechanical action. Pumps are used for various purposes throughout society. Early applications included the use of windmills or waterwheels to pump water. Today, the pump is used in irrigation, water supply, gasoline supply, air conditioning systems, refrigeration (often referred to as compressors), chemical transfer, sewage transfer, flood control, marine services, and more.

Due to the wide range of applications, pumps come in many shapes and sizes: from very large to very small, from handling gases to handling liquids, from high pressure to low pressure, and from large to small volumes. Therefore, pumps can be classified into different types according to their use. Such as water pumps, vacuum pumps, garbage pumps, hydraulic pumps, sewage pumps, etc.

Cast Pump Parts Manufacturer
JICHUANGCASTING manufactures a wide variety of cast pump parts including cast pump bodies, impeller castings, pump casings, pump mounting brackets, and other pump castings used in the solid waste treatment, oil extraction and refining, concrete construction, petrochemical and water treatment industries. We use various casting alloys according to your requirements, such as heat-resistant stainless steel, cast iron ductile iron, grey cast iron, etc. Our spectrometers ensure precise alloy composition, regardless of material.

We can manufacture pump castings through the following processes:
Silica Sol Casting for Pump Castings: As with valve castings, when pump castings are designed in stainless steel, silica sol casting will be preferred due to its smooth surface and tight tolerances. This process will help you reduce machining work and achieve uniform net shape castings.

Sand casting: In terms of iron materials, sand casting can be considered for pump castings. The advantages of sand casting are low cost and good inherent quality. Compared with investment casting, more machining allowance is required.

Aluminum die casting: For pump components such as mounting brackets, the die casting process is suitable for its thin-walled and special aluminum alloy materials. High strength can be achieved after die casting, and the quality is really perfect.
