PVC, PP, PE and ABS profile extruders are used to manufacture a wide range of plastic products. These machines use a process called extrusion to melt plastic material and force it through a die to form the desired shape. The mold is usually in the form of a long tube with a small opening at the end. Molten plastic is forced through this opening by a screw turning inside the mold. As the screw turns, it creates pressure that pushes the molten plastic through the mold. The plastic cools and hardens as it leaves the mold, and is then cut to length by another machine called a drag saw.
